Podiatry Treatment Available
What Can You Expect From a Podiatrist?
Podiatrists are healthcare professionals focused on diagnosing and addressing conditions affecting the feet and lower limbs, as well as preventing foot disorders. They offer education and advice on topics such as appropriate footwear and exercises to maintain foot health. Podiatry care focuses on preserving or enhancing the health and comfort of the feet and lower limbs, addressing concerns like foot discomfort, mobility issues, circulation problems, and skin conditions.
The human foot is comprised of numerous bones, joints, and soft tissue structures. Its purpose is to support the body’s weight and facilitate movement. Various conditions and injuries may result in foot problems, including diabetes, arthritis, deformities, sports injuries, infections, and congenital abnormalities. Our fully qualified podiatrists employ a range of methods and techniques to address these issues, including diabetic foot care, exercise and stretching, manual therapy, skincare, shockwave therapy, and acupuncture.

Reduced Pain
We strive to alleviate discomfort and help you return to walking pain-free by targeting the underlying cause, such as plantar fasciitis, bunions, and heel spurs.
Improved Mobility

Issues ranging from an infected toenail to broken bones or torn soft tissues may affect functionality, so intervention may make a significant difference to your ability to engage in daily activities.Better Posture and Balance
Your feet and lower limbs can significantly affect your body alignment. Managing and preventing issues may not only help the health and comfort of these areas but may also assist your whole musculoskeletal structure. Having appropriate alignment can also affect your balance and stability, which may reduce your falls and injury risk.Management of Health Conditions
Numerous medical conditions may affect your feet and lower limbs, such as arthritis. Podiatry care is essential for managing and preventing symptoms and complications associated with these chronic conditions.Diabetic Care and Support
While foot care might not seem directly linked to diabetes management, it’s frequently vital for preventing and managing complications such as ulcers that are associated with diabetes.Suitable Footwear and Orthotics
Selecting the appropriate footwear can significantly impact your foot health. Ill-fitting shoes lacking support and cushioning or those that are too tight or loose may lead to various issues, including flat arches, ankle sprains, and bunions. Orthotic devices may be beneficial in many instances, aiming to address imbalances, gait disturbances, offer support, and prevent injuries and fatigue. We offer customised orthotics tailored to your individual needs and foot shape.
