Andrew Papaioannou is a registered Osteopath and founding partner of Excel Body & Health Clinic. He graduated from Victoria University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Clinical Sciences and a Master of Osteopathy, completing an internship in London before commencing his career in Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
Andrew is a rehabilitation-focused Osteopath who adopts a comprehensive and evidence-based approach to patient care. He utilises a combination of manual therapy, dry needling, shockwave therapy, and strength and conditioning-based rehabilitation to deliver tailored treatment plans that promote recovery, resilience, and long-term results.
Since 2022, Andrew has worked with the FC Bulleen Lions Junior NPL soccer teams, providing match-day medical support, injury assessment, and management. Through his clinical expertise and Excel Body & Health’s sponsorship of the club, he remains committed to supporting young athletes in their performance, recovery, and overall well-being.
Andrew has a particular interest in sports-related injuries and athletic development, especially in juniors. Having previously taught Taekwondo to children for many years, he values helping young people grow, build confidence, and reach their goals through movement and education.
Outside the clinic, Andrew enjoys strength training and playing golf, and is a keen follower of both AFL and soccer, proudly supporting Collingwood and Arsenal. He also enjoys travelling, exploring new cuisines, particularly Japanese food and spending time with friends over a good board game.
