Excel Body & Health (EBH) is a team of allied health professionals who are passionate about holistic care. Collectively, we strive to provide our patients with clinical excellence to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Our practitioners use a multifaceted approach to aid the body’s recovery. This includes Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry and Clinical Exercise & Pilates classes to improve overall body function.

Dr. Andrew Papaioannou (Osteopath)

B.Sci (Clin Sci)/M.HSci Osteopathy

Andrew Papaioannou is an Osteopath who graduated from Victoria University in 2018, completing a Bachelor in Clinical Sciences and a Masters of Osteopathy. Andrew completed an internship in London and has worked in Melbourne’s northern suburbs before becoming a founding partner of Excel Body & Health Clinic.

Andrew is motivated to provide the community with patient focussed care. He prides himself in attentively listening and examining the patient and collaborating on goals to help people achieve long lasting outcomes. He firmly believes that establishing short and long term goals, patient understanding and empowerment are the keys to success.

Andrew enjoys treating people of all ages with a wide variety of issues from day-to-day aches and pains to sports specific injuries. He’s passionate about providing his patients with holistic care consisting of manual therapy, home exercise plans and supervised rehabilitation at our facility.

Outside of Excel Body & Health, Andrew enjoys learning, weight training, being active, watching Arsenal struggle in the premier league, watching AFL (Collingwood) and spending time with his extended European family.

Dr. Celeste Coscarella (Osteopath)

Celeste Coscarella is a registered Osteopath who graduated from RMIT University in 2015, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences and Applied Science (Osteopathy and Complementary Medicine), both with distinction. Celeste is one of the founding partners of Excel Body & Health Clinic.

Celeste found her passion for Osteopathy after experiencing various sporting injuries whilst playing competitive netball in her younger years and found that Osteopathy aided her recovery. Through her own experiences, she developed a fascination with the human body and its innate intelligence to maximise function and healing, as well as understanding the necessity to treat the body holistically.

Celeste enjoys treating clients from all ages and all walks of life (and the wide range of conditions that come with it). She prides herself on providing the highest standard of care to all of her clients, and draws from her strong belief in treating patients with a focus on restoring their health and vitality.

Through years of training, experience and passion for what she does, she is committed to ensuring the best possible health outcomes for all and wants to get everyone back to doing what they love.

In her spare time, Celeste loves hanging out with her family and friends, going to the beach, camping along the Murray River, participating in a Yoga or Pilates class, as well as cheering on the Carlton Blues.

Dr. Hannah Rodda (Osteopath)

Hannah is a passionate and lively Osteopath who graduated from RMIT University with a double Bachelor degree in Health science & Applied Science (Osteopathy).

Hannah loves to live an active lifestyle and has dealt with various injuries that required her to seek professional help. It was these injuries which inspired her to seek a career in supporting others to achieve optimal health and lead her to finding her passion for Osteopathy.

Hannah strongly believes health is multifaceted. She strives to empower her patients to be actively involved in their own recovery and taking care of their body holistically. She does this by educating and supporting them to be able to achieve their individualised health goals while developing strong patient-practitioner relationships.

Hannah enjoys treating a range of chronic and acute conditions in patients of all ages, with a particular interest in headaches, specifically migraines. She has a strong focus on tailoring her patient’s treatment plans based on their specific needs by utilising a wide range of osteopathic techniques. She has further post graduate studies in Myofascial Dry Needling and Biodynamic Osteopathy. Hannah also has an interest in women’s health, particularly pregnancy where she is currently undergoing further post graduate studies. She loves assisting her patients towards achieving a pain free, active and healthy lifestyle.

Outside of the clinic, Hannah loves keeping active through playing netball, running and participating in reformer Pilates classes. She has a passion for gymnastics and continues to inspire gymnasts of all ages through her coaching at a local club.

She enjoys socialising with friends over a coffee at a local cafe, also exploring new places to visit and eat.

Dr. Daniel Franco (Osteopath)

Daniel has graduated from RMIT University with a double Bachelor degree in Health Science & Applied Science (Osteopathy) as well as a Bachelor degree in Exercise and Sport Science.

Daniel is a very active individual that has participated in many sports and has worked as a personal trainer for over 7 years, especially in junior athlete performance.

Daniel’s vision as an Osteopath is to empower and educate his patients to understand and participate in their own recovery journey. This also includes forming a sustainable and specific management plan that suits the needs of the individual.

Daniel enjoys treating a range of acute and chronic conditions in patient’s of all ages and populations. Daniel especially enjoys working with athletes, to provide them with the care to return to their sport as well as maintain their high level of performance.

Out of clinic, Daniel is an outdoorsman. Spending most of his time camping, fishing and hanging out with friends. Daniel is an avid sports fan, closely supporting his beloved Carlton in the AFL and Juventus in Serie A.

Emma Costa (Physio)

Emma Costa is a Physiotherapist who graduated from Monash University in 2021, completing a Bachelor of Science and Physiotherapy (Honours). She gained practical experience working at St Vincent’s Hospital and Alfred Health, where she provided acute and rehabilitative care for patients with musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, and neurological conditions. Emma also sharpened her manual therapy, soft tissue mobilisation, and exercise prescription skills during her time in private practice. Her eagerness to learn drives her to continually enhance her abilities as a physiotherapist.

Throughout her life, playing netball, gymnastics, and skiing exposed her to multiple injuries, and as a frequent recipient of physiotherapy treatment, she can empathise with her patients. Emma’s passion for helping people, combined with her knowledge of the human body, led her to pursue physiotherapy. Emma’s area of interest covers a broad range of conditions and injuries, including back and neck pain and specific sporting injuries. She has completed professional development courses in women’s health, pain physiotherapy, sport physiotherapy, Mulligan spinal technique, and attended the Sports Medicine Australia International Sport Conference.

In her spare time, Emma enjoys engaging in regular exercise, horse riding, watching AFL (Carlton supporter), socializing with friends and family, and walking her two dogs, Duke and Jax.
