Liamme Cardinal is a dedicated Osteopath who graduated from RMIT University in 2018
with a Bachelor of Health Science and Applied Science (Osteopathy).
Liamme’s interest in Osteopathy began while working as a trainer at local football clubs early in his studies. During this time, Liamme grew a fascination for the process involved in rehabilitating acute and chronic injuries. He values the body’s innate ability to function as a unit, treating it with a holistic and educational approach.
Since graduating, Liamme has spent six years working in private practice in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, along with spending a few years working in Melbourne’s aged care system. Liamme has treated and managed musculoskeletal injuries from all walks of life, always striving to provide high-quality health care. Throughout his career, he has developed a particular interest in the treatment and management of sporting/repetitive stress injuries, headaches, and generalised musculoskeletal pain.
Liamme prioritises patient education and collaboratively works with patients, identifying strategies that can improve the management of acute and chronic pain. Within the treatment room, Liamme uses manual therapy, dry needling & cupping to generate symptomatic relief. Combined with tailored at-home rehab strategies, Liamme strives to empower patients as they take a positive approach to their health and lifestyle management.
Outside of work, Liamme enjoys live music, sporting events, art and travel. He also loves cooking and spending quality time with friends and family.
