Anthony Daminato is a Physiotherapist with a master’s degree in Physiotherapy from La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Health Sciences from La Trobe University. Anthony has gained clinical placement experience at Northern Hospital, working in musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, and neurological areas of physiotherapy. He also has further experience as a community mobile physio, working with the elderly demographic to provide optimal patient care and improve function.
Further experience as a Personal Trainer in gyms and a Sports Trainer at local footy clubs has provided Anthony with appropriate knowledge and skill sets in exercise prescription and manual therapy.
Throughout Anthony’s life he has always been active and enjoyed playing Australian Rules football, going to the gym and distance running. This has evolved from hobbies to a vested passion in rehabilitating people with sports type injuries who want to get back to their level of sport. Along with his experience as a community physio Anthony has a vested interest in working with elderly patients and providing patient centred care to maintain function in older adults. Anthony’s areas of interest are broad but relate to injuries of the knees, hips and ankle.
Outside of work, Anthony enjoys having a laugh with friends and family, doing activity-based activities such as going to the beach, playing tennis and hiking and watching AFL (Collingwood) and MMA.
